"Rain Forest"

Good Morning Everyone! Hope you all had a blessed Thanksgiving. Ours was a little different this year but still turned out nice.

Today I wanted to share one of Frantic Stampers Panels with you. It is amazing how you can take one gorgeous panel (created by Kathy Berger) and voila you have an awesome card.

On this card I used the Rain Forest Card Panel from the Frantic Stamper Collection. I cut the panel out of black foam, layered it on a white cardstock panel, then applied a bow that I made using their Small Solid Paper Bow, a couple embellishments and you are done.

Be sure to check out all the panels! One of my favorite things to do is inlay work and these panels lend themselves amazingly to this technique.

Hi Guys:
Things have been so hectic around here what with my daughter's Chemo rotations and subsequent daily things that need to be done. I am blessed to be able to be with my child and help her through this time. She has an awesome husband and son who stand beside her. Our holidays are going to be difficult as she is in the hospital for 6 day 24 hour a day chemo and then feels very weak when she is released. We are now getting ready next week for the 4th rotation. Please continue your prayers!

I have found that it is difficult to transport craft supplies to a different home all the time, so last Saturday I took a class in Zentangle! Oh my gosh, I love, love, love it! I've improved since the first one on the 15th, to this one that I did last night the 20th while waiting for my grandson at Karate.
So easy, pen, pencil and paper. That is it! I can't tell you how stress relieving it is.

Hope you enjoy this new art form. Wishing you all Happy Thanksgiving, enjoy your families. Life can change in a moment!

Love you all and thanks for dropping by.  Rozy

Vintage "You Are Greatly Loved"

Gosh everyone can't believe we are off to another week. Since my daughter's diagnosis the weeks are flying by. Tomorrow she goes into the hospital again for her third 6 day Chemo rotation. Please continue your prayers. God is good and I know he hears us when we call!

Today I wanted to share a card I made for a friends Mother. She is in assisted care and they wanted something to place on the door to her room. You know me, more is more is more! :o)

Hope you enjoy and would love to have you leave a comment if you find me on the Web! Rozy

Hello to all my friends in the crafting world! I'm sorry I haven't been around. I've missed you all and have decided I need my crafting to keep me sane, if you know what I mean!

In late September my youngest daughter was diagnosed with Cancer, it took me several weeks to wrap my mind around the situation. As a Mom it is very difficult to hear those words and the road ahead has been filled with our "new normal"! With a husband that has Congestive Heart Failure and a precious child who is sick my life did a "flip flop"!

With God, our family and so many wonderful friends we walk the walk! We are blessed each day as we proceed on this journey.

Thank you for all your prayers and support!

"Believe In Your Dreams"

Good Morning Everyone! Things have been so busy around here, Fall is in the air and that means the Holidays are just around the corner. Where did this year go? Are the rest of you feeling the same way? I'm loving the new word dies that are on Frantic Stamper. Starting to get a good collection for all kinds of cards. This one is the "Believe" die.  It was a very simple card to make, simple isn't usually a word you hear out of Rozy! My motto is "more is better", got that from Anna Griffin. Describes me to a "T"!

I used a 5x7 card base, covered it diagonally with music Washi Tape, made a cute sentiment out of Anna Griffin's "Well Said" sentiments, added a little bling and some butterflies.

I cut out 3 of the words and then used some string to hang them from the sentiment! Voila.
Hope you enjoyed the cards. Please leave a comment when you stop by, I really appreciate your feedback. Jump on over to Frantic Stamper Face Book page, check that out and then hop on over to the Frantic Stamper Blog, lots of fun ideas and great inspiration.

I'm going to jump on over the Word Art Wednesday and enter this in their challenge for the week.

Wish me luck!! See you all soon. Rozy

Just Cards / Just Steam Punk / Volume 5 / Page 69

I am so excited! In the mail today I received the newest Just Cards / Just Steam Punk Magazine. I thought I must have ordered it and so leisurely sat down to start looking.

To my amazement there was an enclosed letter telling me that I had been published! Oh my gosh, so exciting!

This was my first attempts at Steam Punk, as Vintage is my forte! On the Vintage Steam Punk Plaque I used Frantic Stamper Vintage Dress Form, Geared & Solid Butterfly Dies (referenced below).

Thank you to Fran at Frantic Stamper and Kathy Berger the designer of the dies. Without their hard work and wonderful products these items would never have been created.

Thank you all for stopping by to take a peek!

"Good Traveling Companion"

Good Morning Everyone! Can't believe it is time for school to start and Fall is on our doorsteps as we speak! Along with Fall comes Winter and Christmas quickly on its heels. I am so loving the teal color combinations right now, to me they seem so peaceful. This card was made for the Word Art Wednesday Challenge. I used Frantic Stamper's Horizontal Birch Panel & Large Peace Dove. Just loved the saying and felt that it paired well with the Dove. Blessing to you all for a joyful week. Will talk again soon.

Paper Doll Dresses

Good Morning all my friends out in crafting land! I named this Paper Doll Dresses because it reminded me so much of my Mom! She and I were always doing crafting projects. She worked for a local toy store and was always bringing me home Barbie stuff, it was always a surprise when she came home. I miss her very much and thank her for the art of creativity that she instilled in me.

These dresses are made using Frantic Stamper Kitchen A-2 Card Maker Die.

Just leave a slight folded edge at the top when you cut and you will have the "perfect card" to create with. Have fun!

Handmade Bows

Frantic Stamper has some awesome new dies that have just released. If you enjoy making your own embellishments give it a try making your own paper bows! They are "oh so beautiful" and really make a card pop. Use paper, felt, fabric or whatever medium you prefer, these dies cut "like butter"!

Use your imagination, you can do more than cut, you can layer, you can back with white and then decorate the white, layer finished bow over another color background and "fussy cut" background. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

If you have any questions let me know. Rozy

"Key To My Heart"

Good Afternoon Everyone, another beautiful day in Southern Oregon. The smoke from the fires have left the valley and that is a God given blessing!

I've been working with some new, absolutely breathtaking items from Heartfelt Creations and wanted to share a card I made with you. I love how companies are now including dies to match the stamps, makes creating so much easier. Not as much "fussy cutting" needed.

Get your supplies out and have some fun! Someone will be so happy to receive your "special gift"!

"We'll Be Friends Forever Because You Already Know To Much" Journals

Good Morning everyone! Finally we are seeing some blue sky and fresh air here in Southern Oregon, time to throw the windows and doors open and air out the inside! Praise God for wonderful gifts!

Today I wanted to share some super easy journals for gifts for friends. Buy some $1 journals and add a few embellishments and you are on your way!

Today I used my Frantic Stamper Speech Bubble dies and several of their new Paper Bow dies.
I love the dies that make the paper bows! The can lay flat when mailing and then "shoosh" them to fluff them up!

Hope you are all having a blessed day!

Frantic Stamper Tumbling Block Die

Hi everyone! Today I wanted to share some of my favorite things to create! I love taking the new dies from Frantic Stamper, looking at just one and coming up with as many designs as I can see.

Today's samples are using the Frantic Stamper Tumbling Blocks Die. It is so much fun to work with and I love making my own designs. One of the new things that I thoroughly enjoy doing is inlay work. I cut out several colors of the same die, mount the original to double-sided adhesive sheets and start making a pattern.

Then just have fun using the base and creating your cards! Just remember your stamps and dies can do multiple things, not just one view! Have fun creating!

Be sure to jump over to franticstamper.com and enjoy the new products. Be sure to check out the blog as we have an awesome Design Team Director, Kathy Berger who creates all the awesome dies and a fantastic Design Team that will give you many great ideas!

"Fun Day Cards"

Good Morning all my friends in crafting land! I'm sorry that I haven't been around for awhile on my own blog, but very busy posting for Frantic Stamper. My two daughters like the cutesy cards once in a while, so yesterday I decided to use my Silhouette machine and crank out some fun "no reason" cards!

Things have been stressful around here, but God stands by our side through good and bad, so praising Him is what gets us through!

We celebrated 50 years of marriage on July 3rd and my husband celebrated his 73rd birthday on the 13th. I feel so lucky to have such a wonderful man in my life!

Blessings to you all and have some fun with your cards today!

"AMAZING GRACE"

Good morning everyone, sorry I haven't been around for a while, but hurt my hand and it needed time to heal! Doing much better now. So today's posting is for the Wednesday Word Art Challenge. Shadow Box Art

Good Morning Internet Buddies! Yesterday I made a card for a challenge @ Word Art Wednesday. After looking at the card and all the detail I didn't want it to be ruined, so I decided to put it in a Shadow Box and of course that led to some more framing issues. Here's the finished product. Hope you all like it. Be sure to see the entry below for links to Frantic Stamper Dies that were used in this project! Happy, Happy, Happy! Spring has sprung.....

"Don't Press Your Luck"

Hi guys, hope you are having a great week! Just wanted to post something for St. Patrick's Day!
The Irish question is "Why should you never iron a four leaf clover? You don't want to press your luck!" :0) This 3D tag was made using Frantic Stamper's Flag Trio (FRA-DIE-09039) and Gift Card Tag (FRA-DIE-09036) check them out at www.franticstamper.com!

Altered Composition Notebooks

One thing I really enjoy doing is buying little composition notebooks at the Dollar Store.

Then alter them with papers of your choice. It is amazing how a simple notebook can make an awesome gift.

With these three, I bought 3 birdhouses from JoAnn's and altered them to match the journals.

As usual, it's all about enjoying yourself and having fun. It isn't necessary to emulate someone else's work, it's fun getting ideas but continue to let your own ideas come forth. Have a great week!

Monday, February 10, 2014

Still working on the Spring Cards. Remember these are so easy. Take a white card base and use contrasting Washi Tape of choice to create a background. The darling figures are cut out using your Silhouette with the Print & Cut feature! There are some Anna Griffin Cottage Roses, a bow and a tag and you are ready to surprise someone! Wishing you all a great week and thanking God for all the blessings he bestows upon us! Keep checking back for more surprises!

Sunday, February 9, 2014

Happy, Happy, Happy! Pull out your scraps and your Washi Tape and have a blast! Snowing hard in Northern Oregon, but so far in Southern Oregon we are just a little wet! Blessings to all for a great Sunday. Go to Frantic Stamper Website to enjoy some really awesome craft projects! Be sure to check out the new products coming in.....

Saturday, February 8, 2014

Just having some fun with Silhouette images and a little Washi Tape. Hope everyone is having a great weekend. It's cold and drizzly here so what better thing to do than work on cards or other projects. Would love to hear from some of you about what you are doing during this long, cold winter! Thanks for stopping by, leave a comment if you are so inclined, love hearing from all of you!

Thinking of You! This card was so quick, just used a white base, some Washi Tape, Print & Cut items from my Silhouette machine a few goodies and Voila a great Valentine's Day card. It feels like we could all use some Spring Time in our lives right now!

Thursday, February 6, 2014

Good morning everyone! Wanted to share this quick card. I was learning how to use the Print & Cut feature on my Silhouette machine the other day. I made the rose bouquet using that technique, so easy! I used a 5x7 cream base, overlaid with the new Anna Griffin Flower Bramble Die and a few (you know me) other embellishments. Hope you enjoy. Have a great rest of your week!

Monday, February 3, 2014

Good Morning Everyone! It has been so busy in my neck of the woods! There just don't seem to be enough hours in a day to get everything done.

Thought I would share some super easy Easter Cards for you to enjoy today.

The neat thing about card making is you can grab a few simple supplies and create some fun items that anyone would be happy to receive.

Take a few minutes and see what you can come up with! Have a great week!

Wednesday, January 22, 2014

How many of you loved playing with paper dolls when you were little? It was one of my favorite past times, that and playing jacks with my Mom! I had a blast dressing my doll and placing her on this beautiful tag! A little joke! My daughter did not like it without the facial expression, these Julie Nutting dolls are faceless, so I just added a little expression amd she was thrilled with it!

Monday, January 20, 2014

It is so much fun taking articles you will throw away and turning them into something special. This is an old Cricut cartridge box! Spray paint the box and then started the altering. Hope this gives you some new ideas on projects to start! Have a nice week everyone and thanks for dropping by.

I have had so much fun with the Peachy Keen January 2014 Release. This is a jar of chocolates for my sister-in-law's 87th birthday party. Good Morning everyone! Hope you are all having a great month of January. Today I wanted to post a card using the Teapot and Sugar Bowl from Peachy Keen's January release. Just wanted you to see that the cards can be elegant as well as cute.  Give them a try, so many possibilities! I would also like to give credit to Kathy Clements for the folded front card design, thanks Kathy!
